dhcp.

Hello,

I run a system that uses Linux and am somewhat new to the
operating system. Anyways, it has been running great until I got back
from spring break. Upon my return, it would run dhcpcd and then there
would be a long pause until it timed out. I am pretty sure the signal was
sent out, as the nic became active. After the time out, the IP was set to
127.0.0.1. If I manually configure the IP, it works fine but also is
prone to IP conflicts with people who already have the IP address or
users who are assigned that address while I'm on. So apparently the
hardware works okay but the dhcpd here on campus isn't responding for some
reason.
	Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks,
Josh
