CD-Rom ejection

how are you trying to eject, by pressing the button on the front of the
drive, or using some sort of software-control, like the eject button on
xmms?  Is the CD still mounted?  If so, you have to unmount before you can
eject, unless you have SuperMount (a mandrake addition) installed.
