CD-Rom ejection

When I try to eject using the button on the cd-rom it doesn't work.  I am
referring to any cd playing program I use.  I usually use just cdp, or
ascd, or kcdplay and all of these do the same thing.  They eject once, but
after that, they won't eject anymore.
