How to start X in 32bit depth?

You can follow the same advice that was given previously re:
enlightenment. You add "-bpp 32" to the server args of the "startx"
script (I previously mistated that it should be "-- -bpp 32" you omit the
--). You can locate startx by typing `which startx`.

Or you can reconfigure X so that the first resotion it will pick is 32.

FYI: If you have different resoultions you can switch between them while
in X with <ctl>-<alt>-<+>. Or at least you could last time I tried (can't
now, I've got a laptop that only runs at 1024x768)
