USB mice in X?

Wow, I am so.... underwhelmed by the responses!  ^_^

If someone could kindly point me to a place to learn about USB & linux I
would really appreciate it though.  I am using the PS2 adapter on my mouse
but I want ot get rid of that eventually....

BTW, congrats on being ./ed dave.
