Laptops that work well with Linux?

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or recommendations on
laptops that work well with Linux.  I'm also thinking I would need to
dual install Windows 95 or 98 with Linux, so if anyone has had any
experience with that, I'd appreciate hearing about it.
