Networking with DHCP at home

Two Ways to Do it..
1) Get a Dsl/Cable Gatweway Router they are about 150 Bucks.. and a 10 base
T Hub or 100

2)Use 2 nic cards in the Desktop Machine.. One is used  on the DSL Modem the
other is on the Hub to communicate with the laptop and then use some type of
modem sharing program.

I went with option 1 because I also have Firewall protection.. Aswell as
easier to add more machines
