Well, it's been a while, but in Virginia we used @home with static IP
(we didn't ask for it, that is just what it was).  If it matters, the
box they gave us was the Motorola something or other.  I can't remember
the exact model type.  I don't know if those modems were setup to handle
dynamic IP addresses or not, but ours never changed.  The RoadRunner
service (limited to the east coast I think) does indeed use dynamic ip,
so if @home is consistent then you should be good...anyone with more
recent experience?
