QNX?

QNX is a real time OS. There is a real-time Linux version. (RT-linux?)
Vxworks is the granddaddy of all RTOS, but it is very expensive and
charges for each implimentation. I think qnx is cheaper.  RTOS are
used a lot in embedded systems. Hope this helps.
