Workgroup/Samba weirdness

Hello,

Several months ago, I set up samba so that my Win2K box could access files
on my Linux (RH 7.1) box.  Worked like a dream, no issues at all.  A few
months later, the Win2K box suddenly stopped seeing the Linux box in its
workgroup.  I restarted smb, all that jazz - no luck.  After a few weeks
of Win2K blindness, I apparently fixed -something- because it started
seeing the Linux box again (I have no idea what I did... I think I futzed
with workgroups and rebooted a bunch of times on both boxes... maybe).

Unfortunately, it's started doing it again, completely randomly.  I have
little hope that it's actually a Linux problem (I haven't upgraded, and
haven't changed the samba configuration), but I was wondering if anyone
had any idea what's going on and how to fix it?  It makes me very sad.
