Workgroup/Samba weirdness

Jen-san,

At my setup at home, I have a router that runs network address
translation. That way, all my machines are behind a firewall of sorts,
and they all have internal network IPs (192.168.0.x). They can be had for
fairly cheap, $60.00 off pricewatch, and at $5.00 per additional IP per
month from AT&T, it'll pay for itself pretty quick. Besides, the router
can be left on and it'll keep renewing the DHCP lease - my router has been
running for MONTHS on the same IP at home.
