Why mostly only notices about Redhat?

Redhat is the most common (Linux) by far on campus.

If Redhat has a patch, the others do already or will very soon

=> take these as a "heads up" for the other distributions.

 Dave Dittrich's time is limited.

So, even though I personally don't run Redhat much, it's still
useful to the rest of the Linux community.
