Do you have any idea how long a 12dB omni is? You'd have serious
issues walking into just about any doorway.
However, if anyone happens to be lucky enough to have a metal plate in
their head I can loan you my 5dB mag mount antenna. You won't need to
worry about mounting it!
Also, Michael. I can't imagine what sort of problems you'd be having
with a Cisco card in OUGL. I'm not sure of the equipment there but in
4545 we have plenty of people connecting to the AP1000 in the basement
with Cisco cards. What sort of problem are you having in OUGL?
If you want to contact me off list I'd be willing to lend you a hand in
at least trying to determine if its problem on the client side or the
AP.
Have you upgraded your Cisco to the latest available firmware?
