No, don't unsubscribe! It's better to learn from it.

I hadn't heard the phrase in a while, but I heard it constantly when I attended Catholic 
elementry school, where it was used by students who expressed an astonishing diversity 
of bigotries, so its use does bother me. I have heard it used by people who thought of it 
as an just an innocent figure of speech, so I think its use has spread and I don't 
automatically assume the speaker/writer is trying to be offensive.

So I agree with Charles; we should just move on.
