[linux] usb drives

Hi folks,

I wonder does anyone have sage advice on which USB drives work well with
the 2.4 kernel tree code?  I have been reading up on various device
support and non-support and it's sort of dizzying.  I just want to know of
a good large usb hard drive that is supported by the 2.4.2x kernels.

Any success stories would be helpfull.
