[linux] SATA RAID

I did not try 3ware but have heard from loads of people on this list and
elsewhere that they are great.  I was trying to use a Promise card with
Debian and when that did not work with Fedora.  I did manage to get it
recognized with Fedora Core 6 but eventually went without and used
software RAID.
