"About IPAKeys IPAKeys is a keyboard utility which permits the user to type
the symbols of the International Phonetic Association directly from the
MacOS X keyboard. Specifically, the unicode numbers, which relate to the IPA
symbols, are mapped to the MacOS X keyboard so that they may be entered into
a unicode capable text editor rather than typing unicode numbers using
Unicode Hex Input. IPAKeys maps a keyboard for all categories of IPA
symbols, including: Consonants (Pulmonic), Consonants (Non-Pulmonic),
Vowels, Other, Supra-Segmentals, and Diacritics."
