DEADLINES
Leadership Scholarships: 5:00 pm Monday, October 16
Research Scholarships:  5:00 pm Friday, October 20

DESCRIPTIONS
Mary Gates Leaderships Scholarships support UW undergraduates engaged in 
projects or activities through which they are growing as leaders.  This 
application process provides a forum for students to reflect on their 
leadership philosophy and set goals for their learning while pursuing an 
endeavor they're passionate about.

Mary Gates Research Scholarships provide support for UW undergraduates engaged 
in research projects under the guidance of UW faculty mentors.  This is a 
competitive application process in which students must describe their research, 
their role in the project and how the experience fits in with their larger 
goals.
