Seattle Audubon is accepting applications for a Communications Intern
this Fall to work with our Conservation Program, primarily with our
Forest Friendly Lumber Campaign, but also with our Northwest Shade-grown
Coffee Campaign. The internship is for 200 hours spread over
approximately ten weeks.

Our highly respected internships are unpaid but bring extensive exposure
to a wide range of issues and environmental leaders. The intern would
work with outstanding staff in a congenial, informal, yet professional
atmosphere. Some, but not all, work would be done at the Seattle
Audubon Annex office at 8036 35th Ave. NE, Seattle, WA 98115, in the
Wedgwood neighborhood.

A prerequisite is a passion for environmental protection. Scheduling is
flexible. Excellent written and spoken communication skill is required,
as is the ability to follow projects to completion on deadline.

For more information, interested candidates should contact Alex Morgan,
Conservation Program Director, at alexm at seattleaudubon.org or

references who know their work well either before or with the Seattle
Audubon application materials.
