You are invited to attend a presentation of undergraduate research in
the arts and humanities on August 15th on the UW Seattle campus.  This
symposium is the culminating event of the sixth annual Summer Institute
in the Arts and Humanities. Twenty students with three faculty and one
graduate student from the English, Geography, and Interdisciplinary Arts
& Sciences departments have been working together since June on research
projects centered on the theme of cultural research through community
collaboration/.

Institute students will present their work in a public symposium on
August 15^th at the Henry Art Gallery from 11:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Four research teams (4-6 students each) will present their group's
research and engage in discussion with their peers, faculty, and
community partners.
