[Mathmajors] Math Riddle Night

[UW Math Club Officers]

Hello!

We are holding our Riddle Night THIS FRIDAY (May 1st):
5:30-7:30
PDL C-36
There will be free food, so drop by. We will play around with different math games, puzzles, and riddles. There will probably split up into teams and have a friendly competition. There will be a fabulous math-related prize for whoever wins. Also, if you're a graduate student and you come, note that you will automatically be on MY team ;)

Also, just a reminder: we are still accepting candidates for officers next year. The positions are president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and webmaster. Please respond to this email if you are interested.

Note that graduate math fellowships from the NSF and DOD all list "leadership" as one of the main things they look for in their applicants. If you can think of another way to show definitive leadership while doing math, please enlighten me.
