Reception: Creative Resistance is Bold Resilience

 

The Q Center & the Ethnic Cultural Center-Theater
<http://depts.washington.edu/ecc/>  host our annual and always awesome
celebration. This year's theme: "creative resistance is bold resilience"
celebrates queer people of color and the many ways in which our
intersectional experiences of oppression, hope, healing, community, and love
are channeled into artistic activism.

 

Meet newly welcomed ECC/T Director, Marisa Herrera, mingle with students,
faculty, staff, and community members, enjoy the emcee stylings of Kayla
Huddleston, and hear from our keynote speaker, Lecturer in Comparative
Literature Tamara Cooper. 

 

As always, warm food, good times, and excellent cupcakes.
