I would really like to know about this too. We also use Ebsco and were told 
we could not subscribe to the online version. There are only perhaps three 
times a year that we would need it. Major stories are always announced by 
the media before the hard copy has been received in the library and the 
scientists here are asked to comment on articles that they don't have to read.
