[NHC List] Journal of Field Ornithology from BioOne to Blackwell

BioOne recently announced, via its email list, that starting in 2006,
Journal of Field Ornithology has become a Blackwell title. Content for
the years 2000-2005 will remain in the BioOne collection, however.

Blackwell recently published the first issue of 2006 for Journal of
Field Ornithology. The news came to me late enough in the fiscal year
that I have to look hard, or wait until the first of July, to find the
$275 for a persistent online subscription from Blackwell.

The BioOne announcements list distributes few messages, but they are
important to those making serials decisions. (I'm glad I won't be in the
dark when the bird department asks about current issues of this
journal.) If  your library subscribes to BioOne, someone on library
staff should subscribe to  the BioOne announcement list.
