1999 NIBEN grants

Dear NIBEN member,

I am pleased to announce the recipients of the 1999 NIBEN
Faculty Development grants:

All grant recipients will be notified of the exact amounts of
their awards by mail.

I would like to commend all of this year's grant applicants for
the effort that they put into their proposals - and for making
the job of the Executive Committee really tough!  I also encourage
all NIBEN members to consider applying next year (to make the
Executive Committee work even harder).

I would also like to thank everyone who attended this year's
NIBEN conference for the enthusiastic participation that made
the conference so interesting and enjoyable.  For those of
you who did not make it:  you missed a good event, and we hope
to see you next year at the University of Washington. 

Finally, thanks to Seattle University for hosting the
conference and special thanks to Barbara Parker for so ably
organizing the program.
