Global Business Center Scholarship Application Deadline: January 14, 2003

The Global Business Center at the UW Business School would like to sponsor a
select group of Community/Technical College Faculty Members to attend:

The 5th International Business Institute for Community College Faculty on
May 10-15, 2003.
--Location: Michigan State University Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center,
East Lansing Michigan.
--Date: May 10-15, 2003

**About the Institute**
The 5th Biennial International Business Institute for Community College
Faculty is a unique professional development program designed specifically
for community and technical college faculty. The Institute is designed to
provide participants with the knowledge, experience and resources they need
to internationalize general business courses and/or develop specialized
international business courses at the two-year college level. The program
will take place at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center. For more

**How to Apply of the Scholarship**
To apply for the scholarship please send a  "Statement of Intent" by:
January 14, 2003

1. Why do you want to participate in the International Business Institute?
2. Have you had any previous experience in internationalizing your courses?
Have you participated in any other international faculty development
programs?
3. How will you use the knowledge and experience you will gain in your own
courses? How will your institution benefit from your participation?
