For nurses who want to publish their work, this is an excellent resource!
I will be adding it to CINAHLsources, which includes other sources of
journal information for nursing and allied health.  By the way, Sheryl was
once a school of nursing librarian....

If you are the editor or publisher of a journal not listed, the site
includes a request to add links option.

>     The Medical College of Ohio Library's "Instructions to Authors in the

Health Sciences" Web site was selected as the 1998 recipient of the Midwest
Chapter's Award for Achievement in Health Information Management.

>     The award, accompanied by a $500 cash prize, was accepted on behalf

of the Library by Sheryl Stevens, who maintains and helped to create the
resource, at the Chapter's 1998 Annual Business Meeting in Lexington,
Kentucky, on October 12.

>     The site (http://www.mco.edu/lib/instr/libinsta.html) contains links

to online instructions to authors information for 2000+ journals in the
health sciences. It has proven very popular with users around the country
and world; monthly "hits" currently average about 13,000.

>     The award application was submitted by the Library's Director David

Boilard.  James Garrett (formerly on the Mulford Library staff) helped
create the site.

>     Phyllis Nathan, Midwest Chapter Awards Committee Chair, presented the

Award.  Last year's winner was the HealthWeb project.
