Friends:
How many times have you struggled to key in the URL for an interesting
Website to send to a friend only to make a typo? The result is a flurry
of email messages to make the correction.
Yes, you could use Edit | Copy from the location text box and Edit |
Paste it into an email message, but here's a simple feature in Netscape
that will keep you from ever having to key in another URL when you're
surfing the Web.
Here's how.
Find the page you want to send. Using the RIGHT mouse button, click once
to enable the grey text box then click on Send Page. Voila. The URL
appears in the body of an email message. Just add the email address and
some identifying text and send it off.
Keep in mind that you can also send the URL to yourself this way. If you
use desktop mail, you can put the URL into an appropriate folder and
pull it up whenever you need it.
