Friends:
The Health Administration Section of APHA produces a newsletter
three times a year. I know that many of you are aspiring or
actual managers and might find the newsletter content interesting.
APHA is running a test to see what happens when they make the
Section newsletters available to members without them having to
login with a username/password. This is why you can take a look
at the Newsletter without being an APHA member by clicking the
URL below.
If you find the Newsletter interesting you might also consider
joining the Health Administration Section. To join the Section,
first become a member of APHA (www.apha.org) and specify HAS as
your Section on the membership form.
In the interests of full disclosure, I am the volunteer editor.
(Volunteering for the Newsletter is a great learning experience.
Be sure to volunteer to work for at least one of the associations
you belong to. It makes you a better leader and can (and does)
enrich your life enormously).
There's a SurveyMonkey poll in the middle of the newsletter. Feel
free to take the poll and offer useful feedback to me even if you
aren't a regular HAS Newsletter editor.
Happy Thursday.
Laura
