ACHNE 2009 Annual Institute
Demonstrating and Communicating the Value of PHN Practice to Stakeholders
June 11 to June 13, 2009
Crowne Plaza Chicago Metro, Chicago, IL
We are happy to announce that registration is open (www.achne.org), with
early bird closing May 22.
The Annual Institute is a time of excitement and professional renewal as
those committed to excellence in community/public health nursing education,
research, and practice come together to share their creative teaching
strategies and research.
Besides a great meeting location, we have a very full program. Starting off
with our Pre-Conference Research Workshop, there will be 36 concurrent
sessions, 27 posters, 6 symposiums, a plenary and.... 2 new, special
sessions! See the attached program for more details.
We know these are challenging economic times for all of us. But don't let
that deter you from joining us in Chicago. The Program Committee is working
diligently to provide ways to minimize your travel expenses. Examples
include:
FREE internet access in the rooms and meeting spaces
To minimize your food expenses, we will continue to provide free, 2
breakfasts, several breaks, a lunch and a reception
For those interested in sharing a room, we have a roommate list
coordinated through registration.
Thanks to our local arrangement folks, our Friday Social Event is
only $45.
Note: Low airfares are still available to Chicago.
Looking forward to seeing you in Chicago.
