Try accessing information on the Community Kitchens, alternatively called 
Collective Kitchens.  Different Communities have developed their own 
handbooks. In Alberta they are promoted through the Health Units. So if you can find addresses for the Edmonton Board of Health, the Calgary Board of Health. 
the Southeastern Alberta Health Unit all in Alberta, The coordinators of community kitchens should be able to give you some information.  Good Luck!  Martha
