The Missouri Department of Health,
Division of Maternal, Child and Family
Health, Bureau of Nutrition Services and
WIC, is seeking applications for the
position of Nutritionist III.  This position
is located in the Central District Health
Office in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Consultation to local health
departments and other local community
groups in assessing and meeting the
public health nutrition needs of local
residents is provided by the Nutritionist
III.  This person is also responsible for
planning and conducting district
in-services on needed nutrition-related
topics.  Technical assistance and
consultative services on meeting
federal and state program
requirements are provided to local WIC
agencies by this position.  Work
includes participating in long range
planning of the bureau to address the
public health nutrition needs of the
state, especially as related to core
public health functions.
