Collaborate, Communicate, and Celebrate: SNE 1997
"Building Bridges...Through Collaboration, Communication, and Celebration"
is the theme of the Society for Nutrition Education's (SNE) 30th Annual
Meeting, July 22-26, 1997 in Montreal, Quebec. Past participants remark,
"This is the meeting to attend for those who teach nutrition."
Professionals with varied expertise including registered dietitians,
university professors, media consultants, extension staff, school food
service experts, and food writers meet together with a common
goal--educating the public about nutrition.
This meeting will provide a forum for exchanging ideas and information on
how to improve and strengthen nutrition education practice and provide an
environment for developing professional skills. In nearly 300
presentations, colleagues will translate the latest research findings on
communication and nutrition education to improve intervention strategies.
Premier opportunities for networking will allow the more than 600
anticipated participants to explore new ways to work together in
communities, as nations, and across borders.
Be a part of this exciting meeting. Experience the synergy that occurs when
we work and play together,. You'll go home with a renewed sense of spirit,
a suitcase full of fresh ideas, and the tools and skills you need to turn
your own professional dreams into realities.
SNE members will receive the preliminary program before the end of March.
