"Cardiovascular Health: Coming Together for the 21st Century," will be a major
event in 1998 marking the 50th Anniversary of the National Heart, Lung, and
Blood Institute (NHLBI).  This national conference will be held on February
19-21, 1998, at the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero in San Francisco, California.
The conference is cosponsored by the NHLBI, the California Cardiovascular
Disease Prevention Coalition, and the Cardiovascular Disease Outreach,
Resources, and Epidemiology (CORE) Program.

The conference will showcase the latest research in relation to the prevention
and treatment of cardiovascular disease with sessions on clinical management,
health care delivery, women and cardiovascular disease, community prevention
strategies, health communications, and many sessions on nutrition issues.
