Doctoral credentials

This may come across as a naive question, but as a master's student
beginning to investigate doctoral programs in public health
nutrition/nutrition epidemiology I'm wondering if there is any great
difference between PhD., ScD., EdD. and Dr.PH. credentials. I would
appreciate any input from those out there, already well immersed in the
field.
