Tenure-Track Position for Fall 1999
The Department of Nutrition and Food Studies at New York University
invites applications for a tenure track faculty appointment in
nutrition at the rank of Assistant Professor. The department seeks an
individual with expertise in nutrition and human health (e.g.,
clinical nutrition, nutritional epidemiology, over- and
undernutrition, lifecycle nutrition, etc.). Candidates must hold a
doctoral degree in nutrition or a related field. The position
requires teaching, an active research program, student advising, and
working with department faculty to teach students to understand and
critically evaluate issues related to the role of food and nutrient
intake in human health.
The Department of Nutrition and Food Studies is an innovative,
interdisciplinary department focused on the intersection of nutrition,
food, dietary behavior and human function. New York University is a
large private, university located in the Greenwich Village area of New
York City.
