Dear Colleagues:

Those of you who know me know I am involved in the "Down syndrome
Community" in a role as dietitian and Mother. One of my affiliations is
with the Down Syndrome Medical Interest Group, which is an unaffiliated
group of health care professionals (some who work in educational settings)
with a special interest in health related issues for children and adults
with Down synrdome.

Recently a question was posted to the DSMIG listserv and is not meant for
case reporting or study, but rather to glean a perspective. A pediatrician
wrote asking if anyone knew of a child with Down syndrome who developed
anorexia after the introduction of vitamin supplements to foods.

Again, this is merely to glean a perspective from the clinician side rather
than speculation.
