The Berkeley, California Unified School District has a very comprehensive food

Interestingly, the impact of this program (which stresses the use of organic
foods) has been to decrease the participation of kids eligible for free and
reduced priced meals.  This latter was reported in Restaurants and
Institutions
March 15, 2000 issue ( p.24).
