This is a reforward of the Sample letter for Nutrition and Physical
Activity Appropriations with the samples in the body of the message
instead of as attachments.

Attached is a list of key members in the House and Senate who need to
hear
from you regarding funding for CDC's Division of Nutrition and Physical
Activity.  APHA and other members of the National Alliance for Nutrition
and
Activity (NANA) have been meeting with Congressional staff asking for an
increase from $6.5 million to $30 million for the Division in fiscal
year
2001.

Attached are both a list of members of the House and Senate who need to
hear
from you and a sample letter.  If you live in the district or state of
any
of the members on the attached list, please send them a letter
supporting
this increase.  Feel free to use as much of the sample letter as you
would
like.
