Chronic Disease Nutrition Branch in the Division
of Nutrition and Physical Activity at the CDC. The
Division of Nutrition and Physical Activity is uniquely

related to nutrition and physical activity. We are actively
developing an obesity prevention initiative as part of our

and an epidemiologist which offer an exciting opportunity
to become part of this process. The job was posted July 26,
2000 and will close August 22, 2000.

We hope that you can help us identify an outstanding
candidate who might be interested in this position. If
you or someone you know may be interested, please
have them contact us directly at (770) 488-6044
so that we can talk with them and send them information
as soon as possible. As you know, the addition of the
specific job announcement number in the applicant's
response is essential to identify the position, and the
applicant must specifically address the required knowledge,
skills, and abilities described in the announcement.
Furthermore, because an application for a government

may be useful for us to help the applicant provide the
information necessary.
