Hi Everyone!

For my January 2001 FOOD REFLECTIONS e-mail newsletter, I had the opportunity
to interview Dr. Barbara Rolls about her research on the types of foods that
help you feel full on fewer calories.

I learned some new reasons (based on satiety research) to encourage people to
eat lots of fruits and vegetables, follow the Dietary Guidelines
recommendations for fat and fiber, and choose lean meat group and low-fat
dairy group foods. PLUS, how a piece of great-tasting chocolate may be just
the thing to finish off a meal!

Dr. Rolls also tells how to adapt your own recipes to make them more
hunger-satisfying.
