SPEAKERS


Joanne Ikeda, M.A., R.D. is a nationally recognized expert on pediatric

obesity and the dietary practices of ethnic and immigrant populations. She

has numerous publications to her name as well as many cross-cultural

instructional materials. Ms. Ikeda is an extremely active member of the

California Dietetic Association and is a past President.


Sanna Delmonico, M.S., R.D. is the founder and editor of Tiny Tummies:

Nutrition News For Kids To Grow On. This insightful and creative

newsletter for parents and professionals provides useful information to

improve the eating habits of the whole family. Ms Delmonico has extensive

clinical and private practice experience and has many published articles.


Tarra A. Parra, M.S., R.D. has extensive experience with the eating disorder

population. Her vast knowledge of eating disorders comes from years of

professional practice at UCLA, both inpatient and as the Chief Dietitian for

the Adult Outpatient Eating Disorders Program and the Neuopsychiatric

Institute. Ms. Parra has provided training to psychiatric residents, nurses

and dietetic interns.
