Hi Mary:
Try looking at the CDC Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System
website at http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/brfss/.  You can query the
database for the state stats and you can also locate SC's BRFSS
coordinator to call for further questions about the state's data.
