When I saw this packet offered on the Soc for Nutr Ed listserve, I asked 
permission to relay the info to the phnutr listserve and WIC-Talk, and they 
said, yes, please do so. So, if you're interested....

<<The Dannon Institute has created Celebrate Healthy Eating, a nutrition
education packet specifically designed for child care professionals who
care for pre-school aged children.  Dannon Institute, Penn State Nutrition
Center (Jill Patterson and Patricia Treanor), and Scholastic Early
Childhood Today collaborated in  the production of this packet.

The second packet is now complete, called  "From the Farm to You."  To
receive a complimentary copy of packet #2, send an email to

This second packet has a general theme of winter and fall fruits and
vegetables.  Its objectives are for children  to develop positive
attitudes towards food and tasting, improve acceptance of a variety of
fruits and vegetables, begin to connect basic ideas about food and health,
and develop skills for food preparation.  The packet contains components
that can be easily incorporated throughout the early childhood program.
These include:  a 4-page teacher guide, a large interactive poster for the
classroom, two parent newsletters, classroom activity ideas, and a
reproducible storybook for children to color.>>
