"Writing and Designing Print Materials for Beneficiaries, a Guide for State 
Medicaid Agencies," US Dept of Health and Human Services, Health Care 
Financing Administration, HCFA Publication #10145, October,1999, 314+ pages.

Overview: 
This is a terrific resource if you are in the business of writing educational 
or other materials for clients. Among other things, it includes detailed 
checklists for assessing print materials, discusses cultural appropriateness 
and testing of materials, and has an extensive directory of additional 
resources.

How to request:
(I asked HCFA if I could post this to phnutr and WIC-Talk listserves and they 
said yes, please do--so they welcome your request.) Requestors can e-mail 
Susie Taylor at <<STaylor at hcfa.gov>> or they can fax their request to 
410-786-1905.  Requestors MUST provide a street address (no p.o. boxes) 
because the shipper uses Fed Ex and Fed Ex won't deliver to p.o. boxes.
