Hello friends,
I am sorry, but I would like to remove my e-mail from your list. I have had
problems with my computer, and I cannot find "Welcome List Message".
Could anyone help me?
Thanks in advance,

Assunto: RE: Research on Family Meals
It is one of the protective factors in substance abuse prevention and also
look for it under 40 Community Assets research from the University of
Minnesota. You'll see more in the child development literature as well -
it's a prime time for socialization, positive family interaction, teaching
manners, passing on both positive and negative food habits (search
vegetables and fathers), etc. See report at casacolumbia.org (CASA National
Survey of American Attitudes on Substance Avuse VI: Teens"
See last ADA journal July - African American parents/mothers influence on
food consumption of children. A good literature search in these areas will
yield a gold mine.

Subject: Research on Family Meals
Is anyone aware of research supporting family meal time? One of our
educators would like the information. I know there are lessons available
for promoting family meal time, but she like to know of research.
Thank you.
