Hello all!

I would like you assistance on the following:
Identify nutrition screen requirements as dictated by JCAHO within the outpatient clinic setting--general.

1) Do general therapists need to make referrals the RD I.e. Wt gain secondary to medication, or significant recent weight loss.

a) If yes, is documentation required that referral has been made and if patient accepted or refused.

2) Are Eating Disorder Therapists required to make nutrition referrals for all eating disorder clients with documentation of the same? (Of particular importance in light of current law suit against Blue Cross/Blue Shields)

Thanks for you cooperation.

Subject: DRI and UL tables

Hi:

Does anyone know where I might find a table of the new DRIs and especially the Upper Limits?

Just a table...not the long narrative....

Thanks!

Joan
