NOTICE OF POSITION
Position: Assistant/Associate Professor, Foods and Nutrition:
teaching (75%) and research (25%).
12-month position beginning August 2002. Tenure-track for the rank of
assistant professor and above.

Responsibilities: Primary responsibility: Teach undergraduate and
graduate courses in human nutrition and dietetics. Responsibilities also
include scholarly and creative activities; school, university, and
community service; advising and recruiting students. Develop/conduct
research in nutritional health of pediatric to geriatric populations
through the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station. Direct thesis
research. Participate in interdepartmental Ph.D. food science program.

Qualifications: Required: Ph.D. in human nutrition or closely related field
earned by start date. Preferred: Registered dietitian , practitioner
experience, teaching experience in nutrition, experience working
collaboratively with interdisciplinary departments and strong communication
skills.

Rank and Salary: Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications
and experience.
