This exciting and challenging position involves implementation of the
Healthy Vermonter 2010 Nutrition objectives, monitoring the nutrition status
of residents, setting State nutrition policy, staff supervision, development
and implementation of programs to bring the message of good nutrition to all
Vermonters, and much more.  
The salary range for this full time position is $34,589-$55,980.  Minimum
qualifications are a Master's degree in nutrition or public health
nutrition; or a Bachelor's Degree in nutrition with a Master's in Public
Health.  Three years full time employment at a professional level as a
nutritionist or dietitian, with at least one year in a public health field,
is required.  Registration or eligibility to apply for registration with the
Commission on Dietetic registration is required. The duty station is
Burlington, Vermont, one of the United States most livable cities, located
on the shore of Lake Champlain.
