Dear colleague:

We would like to introduce you to Cornell NutritionWorks, a new on-line 
service for nutrition professionals offered through the Division of 
Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University.  We provide continuing 
professional education from the convenience of your desktop computer.

Cornell NutritionWorks members can check out our latest on-line 
cyber-presentation, "The Role of Childbearing in the Development of Obesity 
in Women." This presentation features Dr. Christine Olson, Professor in the 
Division of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University. Dr. Olson provides 
an excellent example of  how research can be used in practice and includes 
practical ideas and tools to help women address the issue of weight gain 
during and after pregnancy. In addition to viewing the presentation, 
members can take the self-assessment for credit (additional fee) and 
participate in the on-going discussion board to share thoughts and ideas.

Other cyber-presentation topics available to Cornell NutritionWorks members 
are "Biological, Environmental and Sociological Influences on Body Weight" 
and "Evaluating the Evidence: A Look at Phytoestrogens."
